Dewey House - 128 State Street - Montpelier, Vermont
Work was completed on the restoration of some very interesting original windows in the attic of the so-called Dewey House. This fine State owned building across from the Capitol was being renovated to house the Secretary of State's office. Part of this renovation involved converting an unused attic space into offices. Our role in the project was to restore the nine sash windows and install new storm windows. -
Vermont State House - 1889 Annex Window Restoration
We recently completed the full restoration of two over-sized 12/12 double hung sash for the Vermont State Capitol building in Montpelier. Details of the restoration included replacing sash cords with sash chain, custom finished brass hardware and restoration of original lift sockets on the upper sash. This was a great project and it was a true honor to work on one of the State's architectural icons. -
